It was very hard to pick just one to DD from the gallery, but twins and their mother by *noborders won due to the stark impression it made on me since day one with its classic composition and impressive expressions. It has been haunting me for days, so now it's your time!

(in a small village above Dogubayazit, east Turkey, Aug. 08)
They looked alike but they had a different life : one was still unable to walk, only could crawl so he was often carried by his mother ; by being closer to her, he was also more talkative and spoke all the time, while the other one was rather hyperactive, running everywhere and very independent.
This mother of 6 children had eldest son in the hospital for some reason, she had also asked for advice to a doctor about her last borns but he had replied "çare yok" = there is no solution. Probably was he not really a specialist, unfortunately !
The family was very poor and as a way to give some cash, I asked her to prepare for me a light vegetarian dinner as there was no restaurant in the village. Gave her the money in advance, so that she could buy some supplies. Food was excellent, simple but varied, perfect.
